ASHFORD APPOINT KEVIN WATSON AS NEW MANAGER

Ashford United is delighted to announce Kevin Watson as the clubs new manager this afternoon.

After spending four years in charge at Chatham Town, Watson joined and managed a tremendously impressive spell with Cray Valley PM.

Under his guidance, the Millers managed their highest league position ever, not to mention leading them to Wembley to compete for the FA Vase Final. Cray Valley also managed to get to the FA Cup First Round Proper for the first and only time in the clubs history a few seasons ago.

Watson then made the switch to Herne Bay for the last campaign, but following his resignation, is excited to join the Nuts & Bolts.

The club received 35 applicants for the position and we would like to give thanks to all who were unsuccessful.

Kevin Watson will pen an open letter to the supporters later today.
