“Alex is a very energetic midfielder, can play box-to-box and definitely likes a tackle as well which perhaps brings us a little bit more toughness which we might’ve missed over the last few seasons.” Warrilow said.

“He has played at a good level and his organisational skills will be much needed too. I’m looking for Browny to hopefully get some goals from midfield as well, which I know he’s capable of.” He finished.

Speaking on his arrival, Alex Brown has set his sights on helping the Nuts & Bolts go one step further next season.

“It feels great making the move to Ashford and I cannot wait to get started already. I am looking forward to getting in for pre-season and meeting the boys.” He said.

“After a good chat with the Gaffer about the club’s aspirations, I didn’t need convincing – I want to be part of a team that has a winning mentality.

“With Ashford coming so close to promotion last season, the aim will be getting it over the line next year.” Brown finished.
