The 32-year old striker was part of the squad that took on Sittingbourne FC on the weekend as Ashford ran out 3-1 winners. Hibbert made his debut off the bench in the second-half.

Hibbert has pedigree with Sevenoaks Town, Tooting & Mitcham, Whyteleafe, Carshalton Athletic and East Thurrock United.

“I want to welcome Omari to the football club – he’s going to bring a lot of experience and power to our attack, adding good competition as we’ve only really had Gary [Lockyer] and George [Nikaj] to rely on.” Warrilow said.

“He’s obviously just signed for Dulwich Hamlet as well, so it shows the level he can play at, he’s bought into the idea of what we’re doing and hopefully he can stay with us for a while to help us with our push in the league.

“This wasn’t just another ordinary signing, we turned up at Sittingbourne on Saturday and it raised a few eyebrows because he’s a fantastic addition to the club.” Warrilow finished.
