Ashford United Football Club’s plans for the installation of an extension and refurbishment of the Clubhouse, construction of a new changing facilities block, and two new 3G pitches, have been approved by Ashford Borough Council.

The club, in recent months have been given permission to build high class business units to support local companies.

The current plans, drawn up by the Award-winning architect Holly Crosbie of House of Holly Jean Ltd were approved this week, having been submitted in the autumn.

The plans submitted to Ashford Borough Council showed a range of illustrations, which supporters would’ve already seen advertised in the club programme or around the stadium in recent months.

Owner of the club, Don Crosbie said, “We would like to thank the local authority and the architect for all their support on this application and we look forward to moving this exciting scheme forward.

We welcome the decision by Ashford Borough Council to grant the club all permissions and now look forward to the next steps.
