Jarred Trespaderne: “I had a couple of clubs interested in me and then I spoke to Tommy [Warrilow] and it made sense for me to join from our conversation.”

“I’ve been told he’s good to play under and I’ve also played with a few of the boys before, so it was no brainer for me, especially with the club going for promotion this season.”

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE SIDE?

JT: “I’d say I’m a selfless player and will always do what’s best for the team. Positionally I can play anywhere which is why Tommy brought me in, at the moment there’s a few injuries across the squad too.”

“My style of play all depends on the match and who we’re playing, I can get the ball down and play but if the games a fight you won’t see me pulling out of any 50/50’s.”

HAVE YOU HAD A CONVERSATION WITH THE GAFFER ABOUT THE CLUB’S TARGETS AND ASPIRATIONS THIS SEASON?

JT: “Yeah I spoke to the gaffer on the phone and then again in training. Obviously, with where the club is right now in the table, we’re going to be pushing for automatic promotion. The end goal is to go up this season.”

DID YOU RECEIVE A GOOD WELCOMING IN YOUR FIRST SESSION?

JT: “Yeah it was good to meet the boys and get my first session done. I had to blow the cobwebs out the way since I haven’t played since New Year’s Day, but I’m buzzing to be a part of the club and looking forward to Saturday!”
