Ashford United Football Club has set up a fundraiser for midfielder, Rhyle Ovenden, who recently had a successful knee operation.
On January 1st, at home to Faversham Town FC, Rhyle unfortunately sustained another cruciate ligament injury which has kept him sidelined for almost 5 months.
The club is delighted to report that Rhyle has had a successful operation, but it has set him back £16,000 and we are asking for your help.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, can go a long way in supporting Rhyle. You can donate here.
The club has also organised for a bucket collection at the Homelands Stadium on Tuesday evening when we take on Cray Valley PM.
Further to this, our manager Tommy Warrilow will be organising a friendly in the summer where all proceedings will be donated to Rhyle Ovenden.
