We welcome ex Conference side to Homelands in the world's biggest football cup competition!

This Saturday 7th September 2019, come and join us as we welcome BetVictor Southern Premier League South side Farnborough to Homelands Park as we battle it out for a place in the 2nd Round Qualifying of The Emirates FA Cup.

Our visitors have played 6 games so far this season and sit 12th in the league with 9 points on the board. They come into this fixture with a goal difference of -2, scoring 7 and conceding 9.

After losing the opening game of the season 4-1, Boro went on to win their next 3 fixtures including Walton Casuals who you may remember from our first season back in The Bostik South.

Since then though, Farnborough have suffered 2 straight defeats. The latest coming last weekend where they lost 2-0 at home to Truro City.

The Nuts & Bolts however have had an exceptional start and go into this match on the back of 4 straight wins (in the league and FA Cup) with a goal difference +9, scoring 10 and conceding only 1, remaining unbeaten.

Firstly, we took on Pheonix Sports in the season opener, coming away with all 3 points with a 2-1 win. Goals from Jay May & David Smith.

Next up we travelled to Beckenham Town in The Emirates FA Cup winning 1-0 and progressing to the next round. Centre Back Mo Kamara produced the winner with a drilled shot from 25 yards.

Bank Holiday Monday, we travelled to West Sussex in our second league fixture and 2nd match in as many days to take on Three Bridges for what turned out to be a Bank Holiday masterclass. Forward David Smith bagged 4 and his 5th of the season in a convincing 5-0 victory, with Levi Gold adding the 5th.

Last weekend, The Nuts & Bolts walked away with another 3 points and current sit in 2nd postion with a game in hand following a 2-0 home win against Burgess Hill Town. Goals from David Smith and Jake McIntyre.

Our bumper 44 page match day programme returns this Saturday and it includes a great interview with ex Farnborough & Ashford United striker Paul Booth!
