MATCH REPORT: Dover Athletic 4-1 Ashford United

Ashford United suffered a 4-1 defeat away to Dover Athletic on Saturday afternoon at the Crabble Stadium.

A first half double from Ricky Miller, and solo efforts from two of Dover’s Trialists, cemented the victory.

The Nuts & Bolts did pull a goal back in the second half thanks to an outside the box strike from Jack Steventon, but it only marked as a consolation.

Ashford now welcome back supporters at the Homelands Stadium on Tuesday evening as Warrilow’s side take on Margate FC.
