Tommy Warrilow was ecstatic to see Ashford get back on track against Sevenoaks after a tricky couple of weeks prior but has demanded maximum focus ahead of a demanding fixture schedule.

“I am really delighted with the 4-0 result and I thought we played excellently on Saturday. We mixed it up a bit at times and punished Sevenoaks.” Warrilow said.

“Johan [Ter Horst] was absolutely outstanding throughout with his quality and work rate and I was very pleased he got his goal in the end. Then Gary [Lockyer] managed to get his first hat-trick for the club, so I am over the moon for him as well,”

“It was really nice to keep the clean sheet to be honest because that’s something we hadn’t done for a while, which is unlike us, and Damian [Niemczycki] got his first clean sheet as an Ashford man,”

“Overall, It was a top all-round performance from the whole squad and I’m obviously very pleased for the supporters who came out on the weekend to see it,”

“Now we want to build on this on Tuesday against an in-form East Grinstead side."

“We have 12 games left to go in the Isthmian League and we’ve got to concentrate on the task at hand. As a group we know what we’ve got to do and then we’ll see where it takes us.” He finished.
