PRE-SEASON: ASHFORD 3-4 POTTERS BAR TOWN

Ashford United took on Potters Bar Town in their pre-season opener, losing 4-3 at the Homelands Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Josh Wisson got himself on the scoresheet, as did Michael Uwezu for his first Ashford goal on our return, whilst an own goal gave us three on the day.

Tommy Warrilow named two different line-up's for each half as Jordan Carey, Tariq Ossai, Ryan Sawyer, Josh Wisson, Olumide Oluwatimilehin, Adem Ramadan, Johan Ter Horst and Gary Lockyer took to the field for the opening 45 minutes.

Bradley Simms, Liam Friend, Luke Burdon and Michael Uwezu were the remaining senior players available for the second-half with a host of Trialists mixing up both sides.
