Ashford United take on Ramsgate FC for more Isthmian League tomorrow afternoon at the WWMartin Stadium, 3:00pm kick-off.
The match comes just two days after we welcomed Faversham Town to the Homelands Stadium.
CURRENT FORM:
Ashford United – LWLWD
The Nuts & Bolts have recovered from back-to-back league defeats in Sussex against Chichester (2-3) and Burgess Hill (0-2) with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Corinthian and then a 2-2 draw on New Year’s Day over Faversham.
Ramsgate presents a tall order for Ashford in current circumstances as Warrilow continues to cope with the challenging effects of Covid, illnesses and injury issues within the squad.
Saturday’s point lifted Ashford up to 2nd in the Isthmian League following Cray Valley’s defeat over VCD Athletic.
Ramsgate FC – WWLDW
The Rams come into this game off the back of a resounding 4-1 victory over Whitstable Town on Saturday.
Matt Longhurst’s men have suffered just one league defeat in their last thirteen, showcasing how much of a difficult side they are to beat.
With the home crowd behind them, it’ll be a tough ask for Warrilow’s men but they’ll be looking to follow in the footsteps of Burgess Hill who managed victory on their visit to Southwood.
