Our unbeaten run continues after a very hard fought draw with Tooting & Mitcham on Tuesday night. A fairly nervy opening 20 minutes saw us once again fall behind to a sloppy goal. With a lack of defenders available we had a very makeshift back 4, but with the ever reliable Aaron
Lee-Wharton in goal.
We finally managed to settle down and our first real decent chance resulted in the equaliser. Some good work from Aaron Kragbe down the right, with the winger forcing the defender to swipe at the ball before it fell perfectly for forward Callum Howland. With nothing but the goal in his sights he slammed the ball into the top corner from around the penalty spot.
The second half was a really good match up between two hard working sides. Captain Harry Lavender again managing to cover every area of the pitch, whilst also stretching the visitors with his fine passing range.
Both sides had to dig in to prevent either side claiming a winner and ultimately a draw being a fair result and a very good point against a strong attacking side.
